San Francisco House Summary
Casita Cielo Azul is located in the coastal pueblo of San Francisco, known locally as San Pancho, in Nayarit, Mexico. Casita Cielo Azul is only 2 1/2 blocks from the beach. Beyond the stone wall the handcrafted path leads you through the private garden to the house. The first floor has 2 rooms, 'Angela' and 'Kiley'. Each offering private baths, and a full shared kitchen. Each with a private terrace leading out to the pool and surrounding shared patio and dining areas. The second floor is called, 'Nico'. Nico offers 1 bedroom with a queen size bed and a second bedroom/living room with 2 twin size beds. These bedrooms both have entrances to the shared, double sink bathroom. Each bedroom has a door that leads out to Nico's large private terrace. There you'll find a full kitchen and dining area as well as a living/gathering space. A spiral staircase leads guests to the rooftop deck where stunning sunsets can be viewed.

For years we have traveled extensively throughout Mexico purchasing art and artefacts for our tienda in Evanston, Illinois, Casita Azul. The knowledge gained from staying in various hotels, B&B’s and resorts, has been used to create our home, Casita Cielo Azul. Our philosophy when traveling has always been to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. Take a walk, go to the beach, sit on the terrace and read, or do nothing but catch up on your thoughts. With that in mind, our rooms open to the outdoors and we encourage you to get out and enjoy your stay in San Pancho. Depending on the season, you’ll find a variety of restaurants in town, from taco stands, beach , or fine dining. The beautiful beach is rarely crowded, even during high season. There you can catch a glimpse of a passing whale or dolphin, enjoy watching the diving pelicans, sit under a palapa sipping on something with an umbrella. At the end of the day catch one of San Pancho's famous sunsets.

- Casita Angela and Casita Kiley are on the ground floor. They each have private bathrooms and terraces but share a full kitchen. Casita Nico is the 2nd floor suite and consists of 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, a 2nd bedroom with 2 twin size beds a double sink shared bathroom, a full kitchen, dining area, living area and the rooftop deck. Each unit can be rented separately or the entire house as one. The 20' x 40' pool is a common area which also offers 2 dining areas.
