Charming Lakeside Cottage: This 1925 lakeside, 3rd generation, family- owned cottage has been lovingly cared for over the years. Recent renovations include a functional, modern kitchen and bathroom , skylights, ceiling fans, new bedroom floors, new paint inside and out. The old world charm of an antique cottage remains with pine walls & ceilings, new (2008) gas fireplace stove for the occasional chilly night, and 3 sided glassed & screened front porch for beautiful sunset viewing over the lake.
Additional local attractions: Weds night summer concerts in nearby Asby center; Kimball's Farm with the best homemade ice cream in NH; Cathedral of the Pines; Antique hunting in quaint and picturesque Ashburnham Center- about 4 miles away . A shopping mall & eateries are 15 minutes away in Rindge, NH. The lake is perfect for all water activities- swimming, fishing, boating. Enjoy a serene, restful get-away at this charming & classic New England lakeside cottage.
Amenities at waterfront include 6 chairs, patio table with umbrella, brazier for evening campfires, picnic table, rowboat with oars, large dock for swimming/diving; smaller dock for sunning. Beach is sandy and shallow for families with young children.
