Dallas House Details
About your accommodations: Now, I will tell you a little more about your accommodations and the amenities we provide. You will have exclusive use of a private suite that can accommodate up to four people. It has two double beds, a trundle bed and a kitchenette (small refrigerator, microwave, two burner stove, coffee maker, toaster, sink) and a small TV connected to a satellite dish. There is a full bath (shower only) and access to laundry facilities. The suite has private entrances.
Activities: Enjoy hiking? Oregon has some of the most beautiful state parks in the nation. One of our favorites is Silver Falls State Park (with its 10 waterfalls) within a one hour drive from us. Of course, Crater Lake National Park is a “must see” if you have a couple of extra days to spend. Mount Hood is a one day round trip through the beautiful Columbia Gorge with additional Oregon state parks to explore along the way. There are two golf courses within a 5 to 15 minute drive.
Amenities: Because you will be our guests, you will be invited to join us in the great room or on the deck for breakfast each day of your stay. We are no fuss, no muss type folks; therefore our breakfast menu is very straight forward and includes coffee, tea, milk, juice, bread, fruit, dry cereal and an egg dish. On occasion, we also serve freshly baked caramel rolls. In addition, every evening you will be invited to join us on our deck to partake in the beautiful view we have of the Willamette Valley and munch on hors d’oeuvres served with a complementary bottle of one of Oregon’s fine wines.
Other Activities: Wine touring, hiking state and national parks
