Sullivans Island Cottage Details
Our place is an early 1900's old Southern beach cottage that was built to house Army Corps nurses prior to WWI. While totally updated and in great condition, we've made sure to preserve the old beach cottage charm. It's wonderfully decorated but is all about comfort.
We have lots of books for reading and napping. Much to our chagrin, we also have wireless Internet, cable, DVD and an iPod ready CD player.
Sullivan's Island is not a tourist town. It's mostly made up of full time residents. It is very safe and family friendly. You can bicycle down to the 'downtown' for great restaurants, playgrounds, tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, galleries and a small grocery store. Lots of folks think of Sullivan's Island as 'Mayberry by the Sea'.
Other Activities: shopping, Kayaking, boating, shelling, wildlife viewing, health/beauty spa, basketball, Miniature golf
