Kitchen and Interior

The spacious kitchen includes all the modern conveniences of the gourmet kitchen, with gas stove, dishwasher, a cooler of purified, crystal clear drinking water, a toaster oven for a quick snack, coffee maker, blender (for the best Margaritas you have ever tasted!) and a microwave for reheating last-nights gourmet delights that you just couldn’t finish. But you don’t want to spend your vacation in the kitchen! The caretakers of Dos Palmas, Esther and Rigo, who live a stones throw away on the Dos Palmas property, are both restaurant quality cooks and are available upon request to prepare sumptuous gourmet meals that you will savor. Your oversized 4,000 square foot Dos Palmas villa features rich Mexican and Mayan design using fabulous interior and exterior colors.....terra cotta, turquoise, mango, lemon and line…..all balanced with traditional talavera tiles that dance to the Mexican music piped throughout the house. The villa’s furnishings are in the Mexican “rustic” style.

Bedrooms

And Sleeping! Did we mention how well you will sleep at Dos Palmas? All 4 bedrooms have baths en suite. Two of the 4 bedrooms are situated on the ground floor with ocean views and terraces, including relaxing hammocks! The romantic king bedded master suite on the first floor comes with views of the ocean that you will always remember, with its own unique talavera tiled bathroom. The first-floor guest room, quietly ensconced on the other side of the hacienda, has 2 double beds, again with private talavera tiled bathroom, perfect for privacy and quiet. The second story of your vacation paradise includes a second master suite identical to the first floor suite, again with king size bed. The second floor guest bedroom has two double beds, and private bath with connecting door to the air-conditioned TV room, creating the perfect family suite. All bedrooms have AC (but you’ll rarely use it because of the wonderful ocean breezes), fabulous ocean views and all have built in couches.

Design

The unique design of the sleeping areas ensures a tranquil night’s sleep, blocking out all inside and outside noises, except the lulling sound of the ocean. The TV room, part of the second floor “family suite,” includes a double futon, DVD, TV, and DVD library that can easily double as a 5th air-conditioned bedroom for a larger crowd.
