You can stay on the island and feel as though you have left the world behind - or venture off island and find everything a vacationer could want within 15 minutes or less - world class dining options, family friendly restaurants, cafes, delis, miles of sandy beaches, grocery stores, pharmacies, specialty shops, spa services, medical facilities, first class physicians, golf courses, mini-golf, roller skating, boat charters/rentals, fishing. Newport is a 30 minute drive, while Providence is about 50 minutes away.
