Picnic table sits close by Pond ready for your perfect meal. Look back at gorgeous mountains from Pond known for it's huge fish year-round. Gorgeous, comfortable home with wood floors, Direct TV/satellite, TV/DVD, Brand new wash/dryer/stove, m/wave, wood stove. Non smoking. A perfect mix of country, mountains, water & horse back riding (4 seasons) at Chipman Stables across our field. Trail guides can take you & your children high into the mountains, looking back over Danby Pond & views for 50+ miles to Southern Vermont. House 500 yds from Danby Tinmouth Rd. which runs 20 min. to Rutland & Pawlet at 5 min. 140 yr old Country store 1/2 mile away with groceries, gas, beer, etc.

Danby four corners is according to Vermont Life Magazine 'one of the most beautiful places in the whole USA.' Danby is just off Route #7, 14 Miles north of Manchester. 20 miles South of Rutland. Our Cape/Chalet is 4 miles west of Danby center. Danby is a historical Vermont small town, with many antique shops and several Inns. The Vermont Summer Horse show is 10 miles away, with Manchester an additional 5 minutes beyond for outlet shopping, variety of restaurants or golf at Fleneagles Golf Course. World Class skiing is 35 Minutes away at Killington, Okemo or Stratton. Bromley is 25 minutes. 20 minutes to Lake St. Catherine. Great Hiking trails nearby, with wonderful walking everywhere. In the middle of rural southern Vermont, but close to great restaurants, outlet shopping and even Lake George within 1 hour.
