Beach Details: Staten Island's historic South Beach is 15 minutes by bus. Sand, lifeguards, boardwalk, beautiful city views, fishing pier, three-mile cycling route along the sea. Elegant waterside restaurant.
Eating Out: Victory Boulevard, five minutes walk from the house, is a great spot for reasonably priced ethnic dining or take-out: Spanish, Italian, Polish, Jamaican, Chinese and more.
