The Artist's Retreat Carriage House is a beautifully decorated one bedroom Carriage House situated in a very private wooded setting, at the end of a private road. The trails of Acadia National Park and the Ocean are 'literally' just a walk from your door. Fresh water swimming at Echo Lake is just minutes away. This charming Cottage is just a mile from the village of Southwest Harbor and 13 miles from Bar Harbor. Access to the Free Island Explorer Bus service is less than a 10 minute walk. The living space offers open cathedral ceilings; fully equipped kitchen with island for dining, and living room with Gas Fireplace; a queen bed in the master bedroom, and a full bath with shower. Also includes WiFi, satellite TV, VCR/DVD, CD, Gas & Charcoal Grills; Outdoor Woodburning Chiminea. The Carriage House comes fully equipped with linens, towels, kitchenware, washer/dryer, etc. Pets considered. Non-Smoking Property.
