Ellijay Cabin Summary

This wonderful and comfortable cabin was done with style and comfort in mind for your enjoyment. The cabin sleeps up to 8 people and is filled with fun things to do. The master bedroom has a queen size bedroom set along with TV, the second bedroom also queen size set. There is a nice sitting area in the loft for those that like to relax and enjoy the views. The living room has a sofa bed with a TV, fireplace and is comfortable for those quality times spent in this amazing cabin which is closer to heaven. The finished basement has a full bathroom, pool table, domino table and is full of fun games for all to enjoy. This room also has a futon for those that just can't stay away from this wonderful game room. the dining area along with the breakfast nook area sits up to seven people and then, just open up the back door and adjacent outdoor dining also for you and yours to enjoy. The back area of the cabin is very private and plenty of walking and exploring could be done.

Resort is adjacent to beautiful Carters Lake. Carters Lake is the deepest man-made lake east of the Mississippi river, and provides all sorts of fun activities including fishing, hiking, swimming, camping, boating, picnic areas and more. Be sure to visit the impressive Corps of Engineers Dam. Within the resort, go tubing in the river, or enjoy the newly built trout lodge where you can fish for the day. Plus pools, tennis and basketball courts, a playground, a workout room, a large pond for picnicking, and several hiking trails free for your use right in the development. Guests have free access to all resort amenities. Ellijay is just minutes away, and The Highlands has plenty of shops and restaurants. Bring your ATVs and ride right within the community. Whitewater rafting and fly fishing is also nearby. Or perhaps you'd prefer to observe the wildlife from the cabin's extended back porch area.
