Want to fish? Casa Cardonal includes optional use of a 25' Super Panga plus all the world-class fishing equipment you will need to go after those big trophy fish for which the Gulf of California is famous, assisted by a local boat captain and guide. Want to just relax? Casa Cardonal's sea-side pool and jacuzzi will provide the pampering you are looking for, or just paddle around and enjoy the scenery. Four kayaks are parked on your private beach! At Casa Cardonal, 'Mi casa es su casa!'

Casa Cardonal is located in the fishing village of El Cardonal, on the coast in the East Cape Baja area. The waters of the Sea of Cortez offer many different diversions, including fishing, kayaking (4 kayaks are at your disposal on the beach in front of the Casa) and snorkeling. There is a reef not far from the estate that offers great snorkeling if the water is clear and there’s a world-class diving preserve about an hour away by car. In addition to fishing and water sports, hiking in the local mountains is popular, and excursions to La Paz or the west coast of Baja (to visit the famous Hotel California in Todos Santos, etc.) can easily be arranged. Just about anything you could possibly want during your visit can be arranged at a reasonable cost through our caretaker, Maximino (we call him “Mino”), and/or our friend and associate Octavio Aviles who takes care of transportation, excursions and catering. Amenities:: Weekly renters, your dinner the first night is on us, prepared by a local caterer (located just across the road from Casa Cardonal) and served in the Casa in “Old Mexico” style. You may wish to arrange for additional meal catering and/or an on-site cook, directly with the caterer, or explore the eateries in the nearby villages. Casa Cardonal has four kayaks, the use of which is included in your rental. Our on-site maid, and caretaker will assist in any way needed. Our desire is for you to go home rested, relaxed, with many great new treasured memories, and ready to return!

Fishing:: If you plan to fish the Sea of Cortez during your visit, full access and use of Casa Car donal’s fishing boat (Panga), which includes a boat captain/guide, fishing gear, and fuel, is available for an additional fee.
