You will feel at home in this cozy cottage overlooking the lake. Sit on the deck of the house while you gaze out at the water, or take the short walk down the path to the lake where you can relax on top of the party deck. The dock has an empty slip available for your boat while you stay at the house, along with lounge chairs, a sun umbrella, a picnic table and a grill for your enjoyment. Less than an hour from Metro-Atlanta this is a great south side location on Lanier that is close to a lot of amenities on the lake. Enjoy fishing off the dock or cruising around in the paddle boat. Enjoy the gorgeous views of the lake looking out the wall of windows on all 3 levels. The bunk bed room is great for kids, with 2 sets of bunks and a twin bed, along with a tv and a playstation 2. The house comfortably sleeps 12, with 2 futons in the basement. Wind down at the end of the day and enjoy sunset views while sipping a cocktail in the hot tub located on the lower deck.

Lake Lanier is a great choice for your getaway for so many reasons. It is a large, beautiful lake which is ideal for your different activities: boating, skiing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, relaxing and enjoying the views. Around the lake you can go horseback riding, dine by the water, or enjoy Lake Lanier Islands for some exciting water fun. This house is less than an hour north on GA 400 from Hotlanta, home to Six Flags, Stone Mountain Park, the Braves and Falcons, and a great airport. Go north and you will find yourself in the North Georgia Mountains where parks, rafting, waterfalls, hiking and exploring nature is abundant. You are close to top notch golf, shopping, dining and entertainment.
