By the Sea: Our cottage, located in the Village of Manomet, is designed to be a family friendly spot where we hope that you and 'the gang' will build many happy memories. Many of our families return year after year and we look forward to seeing the children each year as they grow up. The cottage has a view of Cape Cod Bay. It is a short walk to the beach (about a block). Entrance to the beach is down a sloping walkway. This is a family friendly, private beach community with no public parking facilities. You will find ample parking at the property along with a large grassy yard for play, picnic tables and a deck with table and chairs. The beach is great for sunbathing, swimming (a bit chilly, but very refreshing) as well as long walks. If your well behaved family dog is joining you, it may also walk on the beach. Keep in mind there is a leash law in Plymouth.

Fun Things to Do: Plymouth offers many fun family activities including visits to Plymouth Plantation, a living history exhibit about the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag Indians, and the Mayflower, Whale Watching and Deep Sea Fishing trips as well as inside the harbor tours aboard Lobster Tales Pirate Adventure and the Pilgrim Belle paddle wheel boat. The Manomet Bird Observatory and Cape Cod Canal (biking, walking and roller blading) is also nearby. Great central location for day trips to Boston, Martha's Vineyard, Cape Cod and Newport, RI. There are also several wonderful daily fee golf courses including The Pine Hills, Waverly Oaks and Souther's Marsh.
