Sports: Surfing, Kayaking, Tennis: Surf board rentals are available at two locations in Narragansett Pier (1/2 mile). Kayak rentals are available at Middle Bridge on the Narrow River (3 minutes by auto), which flows (1/2 mile) into the ocean just north of the Narragansett Beach. Tennis courts (5, hard surface) are available at Sprague Park in Narragansett (3/4 mile).
Golf: Five excellent golf courses are within a 20 minute drive. The best of these are the Exeter Country Club, the Richmond Country Club, and Newport National.
