Resort Amenities: The gated Rumbling Bald Resort at Fairfield Mountain contains two 18-hole championship golf courses, tennis courts, private beach, swimming pools, fitness center with sauna and spa, marina and excellent restaurants. The kids will enjoy the zero-entry pool and lazy river.

Area Attractions: The Lake Lure area provides a full array of water sports while the mountains have excellent hiking trails. Rent a pontoon boat on the lake or take a guided lake tour or fishing trip. The cultural events, excellent shopping and activities of Asheville are a 45 minute drive away. Famous Chimney rock and Bat Cave are a 30 minute drive.
