The Surf House is a charming 800 sq ft, single story, beach bungalow. Built in the late 30's as part of the Rio Del Mar Country Club in Aptos Ca, it retains many of the original features. 10 min south of Santa Cruz, on the sunny side of the Monterey Bay. Expansive view of Rio Del Mar State Beach from the living room and deck. Watch the surf and beach activities from the comfort of your lazy boy recliner or deck chair. Master Bedroom has a queen size bed, 2nd bedroom has 2 twins, twin trundle bed in living room make sleeping for 6. Deck has barbecue & redwood picnic table. Lovely hillside view from the master bedroom balcony and kKitchen.
Pets welcome. Fully furnished. TV, DVD, phone, and internet connection provided. Steps from the Rio Del Mar State Beach. See the USS Palo Alto from your living room. This cement ship was brought to Rio Del Mar beach in the 1920's and turned into a floating nightclub. Time and tides took its toll. The cement ship is now a wildlife haven.

The Surf House is at Rio Del Mar State Beach in Aptos Ca. Rio Del Mar Beach is pet and kid friendly. Enjoy surfing, kayaking, kite flying, playing in the water, or sunning on the beach. Read a good book, walk on the Esplande to the USS Palo Alto, fish from the pier or the in surf. Collect shells, watch the birds and dolfins, or just snooze.
Go Antiquing in Aptos and Soquel or shopping in Capitola. The SantaCruz Boardwalk is 20 min north. Monterey Bay Aquarium is 1 hour south. 15 minutes and you are in the Redwoods in the Santa Cruz mountains. San Francisco Airport is 90 minutes away. San Jose airport is 45 minutes away.
