Beaches: We have beautiful beaches all within a few minutes drive. Pompano Beach is just minutes away. Ft. Lauderdale beach a short drive down A1A. Hillsboro Inlet, Hillsboro Lighthouse and Hillsboro beach are a couple of miles in the other direction leading to Deerfield Beach about 5 miles away. All of them have beautiful sandy beaches with lifeguards and aqua water, ample parking plus handicapped parking. All are near restaurants and pubs. If you don't like the beaches stay at home and enjoy the pool and view or rent a boat or jet ski (only 5 minutes away) and enjoy the intra coastal, visit the on water restaurants like Houston's, Joe's Riverside, Shooters and many others. You can park a couple of 30' boats right on the dock, then hop on and go when ever you wish. The dock has water and electricity and is 100 feet long and only 4 years old.

House location: The house is on a point lot with 110 feet of frontage on a very wide canal. Views are beautiful with lots of yachts and boats that go by on their way to fishing, site seeing, dining and just pleasure. There are two gliding chairs on the dock with comfortable cushions great for just sitting with a martini or other cocktail and watching the waterfront activities. You may see boats, fisherman, an occasional crabber, parrots flying over and an occasional iguana on a hot day. Iguana's sometimes grow to about 7' long but are harmless and more afraid of you then you would be of them. The canal water here is very clean and, although it leads to the sea, it is fed on the other end by fresh water from the Everglades National Forest. Because of this we have one of the widest canals in the area and it is called a 'Grand Canal.'

Entertainment: Golf is withing a few minutes drive, a municipal golf course open to the public and run by the City of Pompano Beach. A full 18 holes and very well maintained. Also located at the golf course is an excellent restaurant and cocktail lounge. For shoppers, we have Sears, Walmart, JC Penny, the Festival Indoor Flea Market with over 800 discount stores and theSunrise Swap Shop, a place like nowhere else with a theme park, gold and silver jewelry by the ounce, clothes and electronics at unbelievable prices. For food, there are 2 Publix Markets, one within walking distance, the other 2 miles away. We have pubs, high end restaurants, sport bars, Carrabba's, Fridays and every other chain restaurant you can think of. White table cloth restaurants are abound, many on the water and most have excellent food. Scuba diving, glass bottom boats and boat rentals are minute away as are para sailing and other water sports Use our stationary bike or our small weights to keep in shape!

Other Activities: Boating, kayaking, jet skis, Goodyear Blimp, fishing, swimming and beach for sun and fun
