Waterton Lakes National Park House Details
Local events: The Pincher Creek area hosts a number of special events including the Cowboy Poetry Weekend June 13-15, Kite Festival July 18-20, Fair and Rodeo August 15-17. Thunder in the Valley fireworks display during Crowsnest Pass' 'Rum Runner Days' in mid-July. The Town of Pincher Creek has a great indoor pool with hot-tub and wading pool, and a fitness center.
The outdoors: This property is located near a wildlife sanctuary. Deer, elk, moose, are commonly seen, and bears and cougars do frequent the area. The area can be very dry in the summer - the only open fires allowed are in the fire-pit; this may be subject to local fire bans in extremely dry conditions. This is a non-smoking property. No ATV's or motorbikes are permitted.
