Our unit is on the third floor of a secure building. This condo is not “walking distance” to the beach, it’s Directly On a beautiful sandy beach. In fact, you can throw a stone from the lanai (patio) to the water. This beach front location makes a huge difference when you’re carrying armfuls of towels, mats, snorkels and etc. In the morning, you can have breakfast on the lanai and watch the sun come up over the sea. The beach is never crowded. Some days you’ll have the whole beach to yourself. There’s a reef about a half-mile out where the waves break, so the water is calm and perfect for swimming or snorkeling. If you want waves, “Pounders Beach” is 2 minutes away, and world famous Sunset Beach or Waimea Bay are only 20 minutes away. The condo sleeps 6, usually 2 adults and 4 kids.
