Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- We try to keep our calendar up-to-date, but please feel free to check with us regarding availability.
Please inquire if you are looking for a shorter stay than a week as we may be able to accommodate you.
50% Deposit due at booking, balance due 3 weeks before arrival date.
We only rent 10 weeks, therefore, if you have to cancel for any reason and we are able to fill your date(s), we will refund your money.
Sometimes we make exceptions for pets with pre-approval and $500 Pet Deposit.
Usually, we book from Saturday to Saturday but will do other nights, if available.
7% Maine State Tax is required, we accept Checks, Money Orders and Wire Transfers.
Note: Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice. - We require a $200 security deposit on all new rental relationships. Our caregivers will confirm with us after each departure that everything is ok and we will drop the deposit at the post office the first business day after departure to be returned to the renters. If there are any deductions that need to be made, we will provide explanation and receipts when necessary within 10 business days. Unfortunately, this is a result of some items being taken from the cottage during the summer of 2008.

Boothbay Harbor Cottage Details
2010 Season Rentals: We will begin taking reservations for the 2010 Season on February 1 from those who have not rented with us before. Prior to February 1, we will be accepting reservations from our family, friends, and those who have rented from us in the past. Reservations will always be taken on a first come, first serve basis with a deposit. We hope to be able to accommodate you in 2010! Should you have any questions or need further information, please feel free to contact us though this website!
A Couple Comments from some Previous Renters: Thank you so much for sharing your cottage with us. We had a great weekend and were so close to the wedding (at Spruce Point Inn) that we walked back and forth all weekend. The view was beautiful and was great to sit on the porch. The weather Sunday was magnificent, the day of the wedding, but Monday was rainy and cold.....typical New England. We did light a fire and stayed warm and cozy in the cottage. I will definitely keep you in mind if I ever want to get away to Maine again. I've even told a couple of girlfriends I've got a place for us to escape to. - Thanks again! D.R.
