This lakeside retreat has stairs to a private dock for swimming, mooring your boat, and fishing. Two levels of living space with numerous cozy gathering areas. The main level includes an open fully-equipped kitchen/dining room/living room with a fireplace and sliding glass doors to an 80 foot wraparound deck; 1 bedroom; full bath; and washer/dryer. The lower level includes a family room; fireplace; and bar with beverage refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Sliding glass door opens to patio below deck. Lower level also includes 1 bedroom, a sleeping den, and full bathroom. Free wireless internet, basic cable TVs, DVD players, VCR, DVDs, videotapes, games, books. linens, towels, spices, firewood, outdoor grill, picnic table and firepit. The Adirondack State Park's Great Sacandaga Lake area boasts boat launches and many outdoor recreational activities, including golf, swimming, boating, kayaking, tournament fishing, trail hiking, horseback riding, hunting, cross-country and downhill skiing, ice fishing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. Springtime brings a village-wide garage sale, and return of the 'Sacandaga Swifts.' Open-air entertainment on summer Sundays and a weekly farmer's market are provided at the Waterfront Park. See July 4th fireworks and Labor Day Ring of Fire. Fall brings leaf-peeping; and Fall Weekend, featuring food, shopping and crafts. The nearby Capital District region offers a panoply of culture, including theaters, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, racetrack, gaming, mineral spas, shopping outlets, theme, water, and adventure parks, wildlife and history museums, and a zoo.
