And after all that driving in search of that elusive tranquility, you discover you've rented some musty old cabin full of cobwebs and weird smells. 'Is there a dead squirrel in the rafters?' you wonder. 'When was the last time somebody washed these sheets?' We've all been there. Now it's time for you to try Firefly Cottage where the peace and quiet of quiet Lake Sinissippi are just one hour's drive from Milwaukee. This 2-bedroom year-round, air conditioned lake home is the weekend retreat of Greg, an Internet consultant and Realtor, and Brooke, a filmmaker. The small town of Hustisford offered them a refuge from their busy lives without having to drive too far from the city. Over the past few years, they've transformed Firefly into a comfortable hideaway filled with original art, funky decor and a friendly ambiance.

The house and where to sleep...: The property features 50 feet of lake frontage, but Firefly's most striking characteristic is nice big backyard that At night, roast marshmallows and S'mores at the fire pit with plenty of chairs for those visiting friends. Bedrooms: Each bedroom has a different personality. The Aqua room is the master bedroom with a nice Queen Size bed and a beautiful blue ambiance. The Bunk room has a cute bunk bed with a twin size on the top with a double size on the bottom.

Fun and Games: The Entertainment Center is stocked with DVDs, games, a multiple CD player, and coffee table books. There are also plenty of paperbacks and magazines for you to read. And don't forget to explore your autobiographical writing talents by telling your stories in our Cottage Journal. Just in case you can't truly leave the world behind, we have wireless high-speed Internet access. Just bring your laptop; it will even work in the yard. The Rec Room has a pull out futon bed, just in case you need more sleeping accommodations. The kitchen is quite large and has some great big picture windows that open out over the back yard and give a fantastic view of the lake. It's well stocked with pots, pans, a dishwasher, and microwave.
