Read about us in the following paragraphs: Lowest rate on Island. Beaufort, Charleston, Savannah and Hilton Head are but a stone's throw away. This beautiful beach condominium at HARBOR ISLAND certainly fits the old adage ‘the best kept little secret’. Imagine walking on the beach and not tripping over sunbathers, or using the tennis court anytime you wish. One does not have to complete with other people for sea shells on the beach. You can swim laps in the pool with your eyes closed……but perhaps the greatest joy is seeing the osprey that sits atop its nest as you drive in and out of the island. Let’s hope we never get to the age when seeing the birds don’t give us a thrill. If too many people find out about this closely guarded secret...our oceanfront island, will the birds continue to nest there?
See all our pictures and video: We have four very famous ‘cousins’ that live just down the road. You will come to know us better by the company we keep: Beaufort (less than thirty minutes away), Hilton Head (less than an hour), and Charleston and Savannah (little over an hour’ drive). Go visit these beautiful historic Southern cities, and then come home to Harbor Island. Prop your feet up and see if this thought doesn’t pass through your mind - ‘they were nice to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there. I like it here…..Harbor Island……just fine for me’
Thanks for considering us: In the contract that you will sign for this rental property are a few requirements for you that may seem a bit ‘out of the box’. There are ten brand new (as I write) DVDs in the condo. (If this requirement seems a odd, you will understand better after I respond with a explanation follow your inquiry.) You are requested to view TWO of the DVDs (your choice) and one should be viewed from the master bed. Second, you need to request the book: 'Destination Beaufort Visitor & Relocation Guide Now!” Thirdly, buy any seafood from Gay’s Fish Market, located half a mile from the gate, going back toward Beaufort on the left. Can't miss it...........at the end of the end day....some dozen huge fishing boats crowd around its pier. This is not a requirement, but spend $10 or more and I will reimburse you up to $10.00 if you do. Just sent in your receipt.
Golf: Within an hour you can get to a week's worth of golf courses.......never playing one more than once. In summary, I don’t take lightly the responsibility to make sure you have the perfect location to meet your vacation needs. Whether you rent from me or someone else, I just want to make sure you are well informed. One of my talents is answering questions BEFORE they are asked. Consider saving your time and energy until you have my response to the inquiry. As you can see from the pictures on the web site I am stressing one very important fact - you are coming to an island mostly surrounded by the ocean. Cyberrentals/HomeAway have a 12 picture limit on their web sites. Their sister company, VRBO, allows 16 plus a video. To get there 'google' VRBO. Once on the VRBO home page put in property #168339.
