Ski: Hikers will find a variety of options ranging from short day trips to multi-day wilderness excursions. Mount Will, just over a mile east of the turn for Sunday River Road, is a short loop trail with great views of the Androscoggin Valley. Nearby Evan's Notch State Park offers a range of day hikes. Grafton Notch State Park is home to several easily accessible waterfalls, the classic short hike to Table Rock, and is the starting point for overnight trips in the Mahoosuc Range as well as the new Grafton Loop Trail. For those willing to venture just a little further afield, the White Mountains of New Hampshire are just an hour away. The CLASSIC RIVER outing in the area is a canoe trip down the Androscoggin. Trips from a few hours to a full day are possible, and you can bring your own boat or use boats and transportation from local outfitters. There are plenty of options for boating, swimming and fishing in the region, and white water rafting is available just over an hour north.

Golf: The Sunday River Golf Club sits on a wide hillside, with sweeping views across the Sunday River Valley to the Mahoosuc Range, including Old Spec, the third highest peak in Maine. The course is 7,130-yards and follows the mountain topography to maximize views and make use of unique terrain features and dramatic elevation changes. Golfers of all skill levels will be presented with choices of risk and reward through their round, as broad fairways and generous greens are mixed with strategically placed doglegs and bunkers. If that course isn't enough, there is also The Bethel Inn Country Club and mini-golf at the Big Adventure! Fun for the whole family!
