Harkers Island House Summary

Waterview from every room! Bring your boat. Dock less than a mile away & can anchor in front of this house. Cape Lookout Light house & Shackelford Banks w/ its wild ponies 10-20 minute boat ride away with ferries available. Great area to sunbath, float or flounder gig just out the back door. House is located on Goose Bay which has some of the best trout fishing on the Outer Banks. Charter Boats available in Morehead and the famous Beaufort Waterfront is just 20 minutes away. Some of the best shopping and dining on the East Coast. Water Fowl Museum on Harkers Island, Merritime Museum in Beaufort and NC Aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores are all within easy driving. Pine Knoll Shores offers Putt-Putt, Water Parks and Go-Carts. The New North River Golf Club is now open and approximately 10 minutes away. At the end of your day, just relax and watch the sun set across the expanse of water and fire up the sky and reflect on the water....AMAZING AND AWESOME!!!

We are located in Carteret County at the Harkers Island, Beaufort area. This is the Southern Outerbanks. We have the Cape Lookout Lighthouse, Shakleford Banks with its wild ponies and some of the best fishing in the US. Shelling is easy here and some of the best conks are available. Find sanddollars in your backyard. Museums, shopping, dining, NC ferries, golf and amusement parks are a short drive. This area is best known for its fishing(fish in your backyard or charter a deepsea fising boat) .The famous Ocrakoke Island is only a short ferry ride away. This is Blackbeard's stopping grounds. Or just relax and watch the birds, fishing boats and sunsets.
