Akumal Condo Summary

At La Bahia, the master suite, furnished with a king size bed, is separated from the living area with a bi-fold wooden door, which when left open, allows the free flow of the fresh Caribbean air, and a fabulous view of the Bay. Each morning you are awakened by natures alarm clock; the melodious singing of tropical birds out the jungle side window, and the soft lapping waves along the beach. Nothing may be more rewarding than sipping a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise from the spacious decks. Both bedrooms are served by private tiled bathrooms with open showers. The completely furnished full kitchen includes bottled water, pans, dishes, table accessories, a bar with stools and a dining table. Daily maid service allows you be on your way to enjoy all the local beauty both above and below the water, while the unit is cleaned up, beds made, and dishes washed!

La Bahia in located in Akumal, which is in the Yucatan's Rivera Maya, on the Caribbean Coastline. It is just a short hour drive from the Cancun airport, but light years away from the crowds and fast pace of the city. Area bays are world renown for diving and snorkeling. The barrier reef along this coast, which protects Half Moon Bay, is rated as one of the seven underwater wonders of the world. From Half Moon Bay, the water is often so clear that sea life, such as turtles, can be seen from the building without even entering the water. Within walking distance of the condos is the famous Yalku Lagoon, which is often equated to swimming in an aquarium. Also, there are many wonderful small restaurants tucked around the Bay for your convenience. The Akumal area is both rustic and quiet with thatched roofed restaurants, lounges, dive shops, gift shops, coffee bars, and more. The area offers a doctor, pharmacy, markets, library, ecological center, police station, laundry, kids center and more

Soak up the sun from the elevated private beach courtyard, and the shade of a palapa on the white sand beach. Find fabulous snorkeling in the Bay right outside your door, and just up the road in the (aquarium like) Yalku Lagoon! La Bahia offers it's guest the convenience of amenities within walking distance, yet a beach that is semi secluded. Our guests rave about their stays here. These condos are privately owned and decorated, making each unique. La Bahia's beautiful units each include daily maid service, high speed Internet service, free bottled purified water, linens, a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of convenient appliances and much more. Wireless Internet is available in unit, so please bring your laptop. Beach towels can be checked out at the reception office.
