- A reservation/damage deposit of $500 is required. This must be received within 3 days of booking to confirm the reservation and lock in your dates. The deposit automatically converts to a security deposit upon arrival. The deposit will NOT be applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within 14 days of check out, provided the following provisions are met:
a. No damage is done to the home, its contents, or the property beyond normal wear and tear.
b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents.
c. All trash is placed in refuse containers in the garage.
d. All dishes, pots, pans, etc. are clean.
e. All keys left in the lock box and the house is left locked.
f. No missing remote controls, DVDs, or other personal property.
g. No towels or linens are lost or damaged.
h. No late check out.
If damage exceeds the amount of the security/damage deposit, the renter is responsible for the total cost of repairs.
- An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is required 45 days before arrival. The advance payment will be applied toward the rent. Credit card payments may be made via secure means through PayPal, which accepts all major credit cards. Simply select the link in the email from PayPal to make your payments. Alternative forms of payment such as traveler's checks, bank money orders, cashiers checks or personal checks payable to Jim Brown will only be accepted with prior authorization. The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT is due 30 days before your arrival date.
