Corea Cottage Details
Downeast Corea, Maine: Corea is a very small village centered around lobster fishing. You can usually buy live lobster at the co-op, about a 5 minute walk from the house. The nearby heath is a natural treasure. You might like to take your camera on a long walk and catch glimpses of the breaking waves or the lobster boats checking their traps. You can browse in the craft shop, or more complete shopping can be found in nearby Birch Harbor, Winter Harbor, or Ellsworth. Corea is a quiet village whose sounds are supplied by the loons, gulls, lobster boats, splashing ocean waves, and the occasional fog horn.
