Bethany Beach is a quiet, family beach resort on the Atlantic Ocean in southern Delaware. it is an oasis for those seeking a small town, low stress beach vacation away from the commercialization of larger nearby resorts like the Jersey shore, Ocean City MD and Rehoboth Beach DE, while still providing excellent dining and entertainment options within a short distance. Many world class golf courses are available nearby, as well as boating, water sports, deep sea, bay and surf fishing, wave runners, parasailing and much more. Bethany Beach truly offers it all, in a beautiful, family-friendly atmosphere. The home is located east of Del. Route 1, so there is no highway to cross to walk to the beach. It is located on a private lane directly on the Bethany Loop Canal, a calm tidal body of water that attracts herons, ducks, geese, and other wildlife. The closest cross streets are Central Boulevard to the south, and Second Street to the north. The beach is 2 blocks to the east.
