With 2 bedrooms, 1 bath complete with W/D and an open kitchen, dining and living area with gas fireplace for atmosphere, you'll find it hard to leave to explore the picturesque Schoodic Peninsula. Come and explore the quaint fishing villages that make up the Schoodic Peninsula. Bungalow is located just outside the exit of the approx. 7 mile, one way loop that makes up the Schoodic Point section of Acadia Nat'l. Park. This is a beautiful drive by car or on bikes, making this the perfect location for cyclists. Location is key here, a 3 minute walk and you're in the park , another 4 minutes and you arrive at the first of many seawalls to stop and explore. Several hiking trails await you on Schoodic Head and miles of granite coastline. There are several restaurants, shops, galleries and even a local winery within a short drive. Hop the ferry to Bar Harbor and ride the Island Explorer (free!) to all the hot spots, or drive the 1 hour yourself. Central location for many day trips, including Campobello Island. Take a kayak cruise, hike, bike or shop. Play a round of golf at Grindstone or catch a performance at Hammond Hall. Lobster Festival and Schoodic Arts for All in August
