Not a bare bones cabin, but a home!: The home is located in a rural mountain community. Get away and pamper yourself at the same time. Nothing finer than to come back after a nice hike or day exploring our beautiful area, put on comfy clothes, build a fire, grab a beverage of choice, and relax. Base your vacation from here, close enough to everything Western NC has to offer. Comfy beds, lots of pillows, beautiful decor, all the comforts of home, come visit The Cottage. You will never want to leave. Our two homes are the only rentals in the community. Quiet, peaceful location, close to all activities but away from noisy tourist activities. Activities year-round. Skiing at nearby Cataloochee or Sky Valley (40 min). December dates available - ride the Smoky Mountain Train, do some Holiday shopping, cut your Christmas Tree at any of nearby tree farms.
Share the Expense of Vacation: Bring along another couple or two, or family and share expenses. Less than the cost of hotel rooms. Hotel rooms shared with your children can be stressful, and eating out every meal gets expensive, you'll save by being able to eat in and pack a picnic. This home allows each couple, or family privacy. The lower level is great for separate area for kids/teens. One large room with 2 twins, queen sleeper sofa, 42' TV, DVD, full bath. Enjoy time together while maintaining personal space. This area is also great as a private couple guest suite. CHECK OUT OUR REDUCED WINTER RATES = $200.00 per night.
Photography Buff or Just Love Waterfalls?: You can spend weeks getting to them all. Beautiful falls within just a few miles of the house. Our activities Book will keep you busy for days, weeks or months!
