Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- We do not ask for a damage deposit as we never have had a problem in the past with our guests.

There is a 50% deposit required. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. There is a 90 day cancellation policy. We do need to collect a 6% Use Tax for the State of Michigan. We do not add on a cleaning fee.
Please note during the summer we only rent by the full week (Saturday to Saturday). Weekends are only offered during our off season if and when available. Weekend rates $500 for two nights, $100 for a third night.

Lake Details: ManorWood is located on Dyer Lake. This is a private, quiet, nature, 35 acre lake with 250 ft of private frontage. This lake is good for fishing, but not swimming. See notes above. The house is across the road from the frontage. The road is a dead-end road. Less than 2 minutes down this road is Bass Lake, a spring-fed all sports lake with the public boat launch less than a mile from Manor Wood. If interested in a day at the beach or a day of boating, there are two great, public sandy swimming beaches that also have boat launches. Long Lake (3000 acre lake)only 6 minutes away and the bay of Lake Michigan that is only 10 minutes away. You can moor your boat off shore on the bay all week. The beach there is great. Our guests can have the best of both worlds; their own private fishing lake with 250 ft of private frontage and easy access to three area all sports lakes as well as Lake Michigan. Area Attractions: We have lived in the Traverse City area since 1980. We love the area and like to let our guests know about the attractions as well as let them know where the locals go to enjoy the beauty of the area. We live 5 minutes away from Manor Wood. We take great pride in our vacation rentals.
Golf: ManorWood is located just 1.9 miles from The Crown Golf course. This is an 18 hole championship golf course located on 286 acres of rolling hills with great views. Email us so we can help you with the web site for the golf courses in the area.
