Beyond the natural beauty that surrounds the grounds, our location ensures that travelers get into the local culture. Yes, we are located across the street from the water, but we also enjoy the fact that we are in one of the most vibrant local neighborhoods - La Gloria. Within its streets you will find friendly locals, small restaurants, many local-style convenience stores, internet cafes, and stalls where you can buy juices and containers of fresh fruit (perfect for smoothies in the morning!). Taxis can be hailed easily from the street in front of Casa Zorro. You should only pay 20 to 30 pesos ($2-$3 USD) to go downtown. If you are a little more adventurous, you can take the public bus for four pesos (about .40 cents). Either way, you can be on Playa Norte, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, in a matter of minutes.

The Casa Zorro property is: affordable, clean, comfortable, and attractive. We stress the affordability because we sincerely hope the money you save on lodging will allow you to take part in our vibrant local ecomony - enjoy shopping, food and fun while you are here! I hate to do this, but I have a quick note: Although we are close to Cancun, the vibe here is totally different. If you are looking for a place to rent and then trash, please, please, please look elsewhere. It is our goal to offer an affordable, relaxing haven. Isla is not the place for debauchery (well, out-of-control debauchery, anyway :)
