Family oriented, you can walk or bicycle the sidewalks and streets of Crystal Beach in a peaceful residential setting, away from the crowds and traffic. New in 2004, the Cobia Retreat has all you need to make your stay here in paradise pleasant and relaxing. Although located in a quiet beach side community, the Cobia Retreat is less than a half mile from Destin Commons, the area's most popular outdoor shopping mall. Easily accessible from the Midbay bridge, you can avoid the busy summertime traffic of Hwy 98. Numerous restaurants and other attractions are located close by.

Great Salt Water Fishing: Destin has the largest charter boat fleet in Florida. For the fisherman with a boat, Joe's Bayou boat ramp is only 6 miles away and from it you will have easy access to the gulf and Choctawhatchee Bay. There is a fish cleaning station in the backyard at the Cobia Retreat. I will be happy to give you all the local fishing information you will need to catch some fish.

Shopping: Destin Commons, Silver Sands Factory Stores and more - all within 5 miles of the Cobia Retreat.
