Local Attractions: There are over 200+ wineries in the Paso Robles area. Our property is located an easy walking distance (2 blocks) to downtown Paso Robles. This is where you will find many top quality restaurants and wine tasting rooms. We are also located within an easy 20 minute drive to most of the wineries located within the Paso Robles Appellation. The community of Paso Robles has events throughout the year. Check the City of Paso Robles, the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce, or the Paso Robles Wine Alliance websites to find out more about upcoming events and festivites.
Local Transportation: If you're flying into our area, the closest airport with scheduled airline service is in San Luis Obispo (SBP), 30 miles south. San Jose (SJC) and San Francisco (SFO) International Airports are 2 to 3 hours to the north. Los Angeles (LAX) International Airport is 3 hours to the south. If you're coming in your own plane, Paso Robles (PRB) has a small airport located a few miles from downtown. Our community has daily train and bus service. We are located 6 blocks from the Amtrak railroad station and the Greyhound Bus terminal. Local car rentals are readily available with most major agencies. Guided wine tours can be booked through several local companies.
Climate: The Paso Robles region is characterized by warm clear days during the summer months with daytime high temperatures ranging from 80 to 100+ degree (F). Late afternoons and evenings are cooled by a marine layer that flows through the Templeton Gap in the nearby Santa Lucia Mountains and down the Salinas River valley. This makes for pleasant evenings outside on the balcony. Temperatures during the winter months are generally cool in the morning with the days warming up to the 70's in the afternoons..
