St George Island House Summary

'Serenity Now' was newly constructed in early 2001 for the owners who have vacationed on St. George Island for several years. It is located in the East Gulf Beaches area convenient to everything on the island. The emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the white sand beaches provide a tranquil get-away from hectic city life.

This Non-Smoking, two-story, beach house is constructed on concrete pilings which set the living area high with great views of the Gulf of Mexico. You can relax on two eight-foot by thirty-foot porches on wicker chairs and sofas and enjoy great views of the Gulf of Mexico and sunsets or take a relaxing dip in the pool (heated in cooler weather). There is easy access to the beach which is about one block away.

The Top Level: The top level contains a large great room with comfortable seating, a 32 inch color TV, DVD + VCR and access to a porch. The dining area seats eight comfortably and overlooks the Gulf. The kitchen with new beautiful granite countertops is fully-equipped with GE and Whirlpool appliances (stove, microwave, appliances as well as a breakfast bar). Apalachicola Bay is visible from the north kitchen window. A tiled half bath is on this level.

The Middle Level: The middle level has three bedrooms and two fully tiled baths with tubs and showers. In the master bedroom you'll find a king-size bed, color TV, access to the lower porch, and a private bath. One guest room has a queen bed and a TV, and the other sleeps four in bunk beds and a daybed with a trundle. There is comfortable sleeping for eight. A full bath is shared. A washer and dryer are on the sleeping level.

Outside: The 12' x 28' pool is enclosed for privacy and is tucked behind windswept oaks. It has an in-ground grill for cookouts by the pool. And there is a poolside shower. Internet access is available for a nominal cost. Guest storage is available for bikes and beach paraphernalia. We ask that you treat our home and furnishings with respect.
