Tranquility By The Sea: A delightful seaside cottage located on the north shore of Vieques Island Puerto Rico. This immaculate cottage is completely equipped with everything you may need to make your stay comfortable and care free. Your private one-acre of paradise will not only provide you with the sight and sounds of surf - but if you like wildlife - we have it in abundance. Many island birds living in the preserved area behind the cottage visit our property daily and large iguanas live along the river that borders the back lawn. Enjoy the daily visits from the beautiful white egrets that visit the lily pond garden in the side yard. Sandy beaches in both directions are just a short walk away and they are great for taking long walks, puddling in lagoons, and scavenging.
Bio Bay will leave you in awe of nature! Waves light up in the dark of night and sea life leaves a light trail behind them. This bio luminescent bay is one wonder of the world that you will not want to miss and the tours are conducted nightly. The unforgettable moment is when you actually get to swim in the bay and experience your own movements lighting up the small organisms. It's like being covered with 'glitter'!
Getting around the island: You will need to rent a jeep and explore the island from Green Beach on the west side to Camp Garcia on the east side and don't forget Sun Bay in between!! You will find every type of water condition that you can imagine from the calmest seas to the roughest surf.
