Bethany Beach is a quiet, family beach resort on the Atlantic Ocean in southern Delaware. it is an oasis for those seeking a small town, low stress beach vacation away from the commercialization of larger nearby resorts like the Jersey shore, Ocean City MD and Rehoboth Beach DE, while still providing excellent dining and entertainment options within a short distance. Many world class golf courses are available nearby, as well as boating, water sports, deep sea, bay and surf fishing, waverunners, parasailing and much more. Bethany Beach truly offers it all, in a beautiful, family-friendly atmosphere. The home is located east of Del. Route 1, so there is no highway to cross to walk to the beach. It is located on a private lane directly on the Bethany Loop Canal, a calm tidal body of water that attracts herons, ducks, geese, and other wildlife. The closest cross streets are Central Boulevard to the south, and Second Street to the north. The beach is 2 blocks to the east.

  • The master bedroom is bright and sunny, with banks of windows overlooking the tranquil Loop Canal. It includes a queen bed, large bathroom with twin sinks, soaking tub with shower, and separate shower enclosure. This room also has a large sitting room with comfortable chairs offering a view of the water, a great place to relax and unwind in privacy. There is a TV with DVD/VCR, a ceiling fan, and three large closets. This is the room everyone will fight for! The 2nd bedroom is another master bedroom, with its own separate full bathroom, and TV with DVD/VCR. The 3rd & 4th bedrooms are like a private suite, on a separate hall from the rest of the house, with their own bathroom serving both rooms. This bath has twin sinks and soaking tub with shower. Each room has TV with DVD/VCR & large closets. The fifth bedroom doubles as a den, with sleep sofa, private 1/2 bath and TV with DVD/VCR. Great access to kitchen & great room. Double sleep sofa in the family room sleeps 2.
