Solvista Condo Summary

We welcome you to our 'Mountain Escape'. Our deluxe, three-bedroom condominium is our favorite home-away-from-home place to escape! This is the ideal place to vacation with your family for year round fun! The region has vast mountains ready to explore with downhill/alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, sledding/tubing, horseback riding, boating, kayaking, sailing, wildlife viewing and fishing. Granby ranch offers miles of hiking and mountain bike trails. Trailheads are located at the base of SolVista Basin. All levels of riders can enjoy the diverse trails found at SolVista. Free, summer chairlift rides are available weekends from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning July 2 and running thru September 4. Each rider must have a complimentary lift tickets. Bikes will be transported on the Quick Draw life for no charge. SolVista has an 18-hole golf course. Three additional golf courses are within 10 to 20 minutes away. Golf at Pole Creek, Grand Elk or Grand Lake.

    After you leave, our cleaning crew comes in to clean the condo. They will inform us of the condition that the unit was left in. If you leave the unit in the same general appearance as you arrived (trash taken out to dumpster,dishes put away, etc.), this same check will be sent back to you immediately, with no problems!

    Please treat this place as you would your own home, so as to be considerate to the next renters so that they can enjoy their visit also!

  • The second full bathroom is located on the main floor between the second bedroom and the bottom of the spiral stairway. This bathroom is equipped with a shower unit. There is another full bathroom located directly off of the master bedroom with a tub/shower unit.

  • The master bedroom is located on the main floor and has a queen size bed. There is also a fill and drain hot tub located in this room by a window with breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains. The Master bedroom also has a full bathroom. There is an entertainment center in this room also for your convenience with a DVD player as well as a VCR. The second bedroom is also located on the main floor, with a queen sized bed. This bedroom has a sliding door that leads to a balcony with full mountain views. The third bedroom is located up a spiral staircase into a loft. In this bedroom are two twin beds. This loft overlooks the living room area. There is a window off of this bedroom that overlooks the ski area.

Notes: Our Ski in/ski out unit has the most breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains from all of the windows and a private balcony. It is tastefully decorated with two bedrooms on the main floor and one loft bedroom up a circular stairway. There is a wood-burning fireplace in the living room. The master bedroom has a full bathroom. The second full bath is located between the second bedroom and the bottom of the stairway. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need except for your groceries. At the entrance to Granby Ranch is the 'City Market' which carries a full line of groceries. The store is reasonably priced with their merchandise. Starbucks, a local Pharmacy and a gas station are also located at the City Market. Our dining area has a table with seating for 6 people. There are also 4 barstools located by the bar next to the kitchen area for additional seating.


Solvista Condo Details

Our 'Mountain Escape' unit offers skiin/ski out access to the SolVista Basin Ski Area. There is a quad-lift just a short distance away. A short trail takes you to the base lodge. SolVista/Granby Ranch is located along the Fraser River between Winter Park and Granby. SolVista is the best family oriented ski place to be. It is a great place to teach anyone of any age to ski. You are just a short 20 mintues drive from the Winter Park/Mary Jane ski areas. The town of Granby is just a short 4 miles from the unit. Our Summit condominium is professionally cleaned after each guest and isa perfect place for families and for those seeking a 'Mountain Escape' at an affordable price! Our development's amenities building is just a short walk from the condo. It contains an indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, wet and dry saunas and a meeting area with a large television. The amenities building also has a wireless internet for your convenience. There are also changing areas and showers.

The Summit Condominium Complex is far enough away from the commotion of being in a town. It's great to walk around at night or even in the day with no noise! Still it is close enough (20 minutes) to great places to eat, shopping and night life! Summer activities in this area are just as fun as the winter activities from whitewater rafting, biking , golfing or mountain climbing to sailing, playing tennis or shopping . Staying at our 'Mountain Escape' either in the Winter or Summer months will prove to be in the middle of the heart of it all!!! In the winter months, 220 inches of snow transforms SolVista Basin into 406 acres of skiable terrain. With 33 trails, night skiing, nordic skiing, snowshoeing and a ski lodge, Granby Ranch offers a traditional community ski hill. Skiing at SolVista basin will take you back to a time when parking was free and lift operators knew your name and the slopes were uncrowded!

Solvista Basin At Granby Ranch . . . .: Is a place where your family can slow down a little, have fun and really connect. The terrain is gently and perfect for learning to ski or board. We truly feel that you and your family will have the best experience ever whether in the Summer or Winter months. At SolVista Basin, you can keep the family together or let the kids explore on their own . . . without worrying about anyone getting lost. The Base Lodge is centrally located between the east-west slopes of the ski basin. All trails lead back to the base!! Set in the alpine wilderness southwest of Rocky Mountain National Park, Granby Ranch is a four-season community where you can golf at a championship golf course in the morning, bike in the afternoon and hike thousands of acres of woodlands after supper. Come explore a new adventure for you and your family!!!!

Golf: Headwaters Golf Course is located in Granby Ranch. You can view this golf course from the balcony of Mountain Escape. This is a 18 hole golf course set in a most beautiful mountain setting. Jack Nicholas associates are in the process of redesigning this course. While this is being done there will always be 18 holes available for you to golf on!
