- We have 3 bedrooms upstairs that can accommodate 7 adults in beds, we have a toddler bed, crib and bassinet. We also have 2 pack and plays and 2 twin air mattresses. Downstairs we have a pull-out double sofa that can accommodate 2 adults. Pets are welcome to sleep with owners and we do have crates and gates available. * we can move the toddler bed, bassinet and pack and plays into different rooms to meet your needs.

Brattleboro Information: The 'Gateway to the North' conveniently located off of I-91, Lot's of shopping , interesting stores, restaurants, nature trails and farms to visit. Information and maps available in the home and please do not hesitate to ask us for recommendations . Visit Memorial Park.... 2 miles towards town with a rope tow... great for sledding and to make a few turns (boarding and skiing)
Country home living: Our farmhouse is 200+ years old but has had major updates over the years. Things to remember about a farmhouse is that the foundation in built on stone. The winters are a little chilly and the summers remain cool. We heat with baseboard oil heat and try to keep the home @ 62. Bring a sweater and slippers. Or curl up in front of the fireplace. The water is from a well, coming from the 'city life' I never knew what it meant not to have pressure. Our home is much better than others But not the same as city pressure.
More about the home : Situated on 3 acres with a babbling brook, wild-life abounds including birds. This year a Beaver has built his dam just below our property line.. you can see him run in out at dusk and dawn. A short walk to West Brattleboro (1.3 miles) down Bonnyvale road. Houses of worship, a few restaurants, 7-11, and post office.
Ski: Stratton... Out route 30 from town run right onto access road about 45 minutes... stop in Jamiaca for a good cup of Coffee Stratton is our favorite Great for families Mt. Snow Take Route 9 West 20 miles to Wilmington, VT. Turn right at the stoplight on to Route 100 North. Nine miles to Mount Snow. (40 min) Okemo Take I-91 North to VT exit 6 then VT Route 103 North, 24 miles to Ludlow. The Okemo Mountain Resort entrance will be on your left. Or continue 1.5 miles to the Jackson Gore Inn, also on your left (1 hr)
Golf: Brattleboro Country Club (public welcome) 4 miles 18 holes Other Courses: Stratton Mount Snow Keene Country Club Pine Grove Springs (Spofford, NH) 9 holes
Other Activities: Mt snow and Stratton 45 min away
