A large local orchard has Berry, Apple picking & hay rides (2.5 miles away). Go kayaking; we offer one for you use. Bicycles are there for riding. Town is 2.5 miles where you can view the third largest antique home collection in the State of CT. There is the 5 acre Guilford Green with boutique shopping, fabulous restaurants, bread /coffee house, food & meat market, chocolate shop with home made ice cream. One gorgeous antique building after another. Live theater and Shakespeare on the Green is offered all summer.The Guilford Fair is held at the fair grounds in August.
