General property description:: The house has two stories, with both containing living/dining areas, fully tiled baths/dressing areas and large bedrooms with king beds. The ground floor 'great room', which includes the larger LR/DR w/ gas log fireplace and KIT, opens onto a large, south-facing portal with sitting and dining areas and a woodburning fireplace. These rooms and the portal overlook a very large patio and multi-terraced garden. The ample and well-equipped kitchen overlooks the entry patio, with jadeplants and ferns surrounding a hand-carved fountain. The second floor suite offers a cozy living/dining area equipped with a small kitchen/ bar and leads to a bouganvilla-lined terrace with sitting and dining areas and a gas grill for outdoor cooking. The second floor bedroom also accesses the terrace.
Garden and grounds:: All living and bedroom areas open onto either a lush garden and large patio or a flower-filled tile-covered terrace (2nd fl.). The patio garden has pomegranate, palm and banana trees, with flowering hibiscus, bouganvillia, and datruda with its huge, bell-shaped blossoms.
Living spaces:: All living spaces are decorated in a colorful style with Oaxacan rugs and the owner's personal folk art collection, with excellent beds and comfortable seating areas both inside and out. Each has a gas fireplace or heater. Each floor contains beautiful outdoor living spaces with covered areas for relaxing and dining. Smoking permitted only in outdoor areas. Inquire about pets.
