Our Historic 1850s Lewes, Delaware beach cottage was lovingly restored in 2006. A house inspector determined that our house was built in approximately 1850 and moved to the present location many years ago. We have preserved the original 19th Century wide plank oak and pine flooring. Family and friends will enjoy the new eat-in kitchen, 3 BR, 2 BA, outdoor shower, CAC, W/D, dishwasher, and off-street parking. Conveniently located a few blocks from the museums, shops, and restaurants of Historic Downtown Lewes and a short drive to Lewes Beach and the gorgeous Atlantic Ocean beaches of Cape Henlopen State Park and Rehoboth Beach. Stunning new sun room overlooks a huge, private garden and a 19th century Coast Guard boat house. The Cape's Great Dune is one of the highest coastal points between Cape Hatteras and Cape Cod. The Seaside Nature Center houses an aquarium and a gift shop, and hosts year-round activities for all ages.
