NEARBY ATTRACTIONS: Arrowhead Lakes is a great family community featuring many activities in the summer months including swimming, fishing, boating, and sailing. The 1st weekend in July there is a carnival with games and rides. Swimming lessons are available and all 3 pools and 4 beaches are fully staffed with certified lifeguards on duty. Arrowhead is located a short distance to casinos, outlet shopping and all major Pocono attractions. The historic town of Jim Thorpe is a short ride and is a favorite destination for white water rafters and mountain bikers. The streets are lined with small shops and antique stores, train rides and hiking, plan on spending a day there.
