Lake Fontana House Details
A great area for motorcycles: This is a great area for motorcycle riding. There are many beautiful and curvy rides which, of course, include the famous 'Tail of the Dragon' road where there are 318 curves in 11 miles. Equally as wonderful a ride for either cars or motorcycles is the Cherhola Skyway well known for its scenic vistas. But plenty of local paved roads offer everything you could want in a ride. Great place for families to meet: My family came from FL and my brother met us at Dogwood Ridge. His family lives in Virginia. We had enough space and the children loved the downstairs(their space) Looking forward to our next visit to your house Joanne B FL
Golf: There are many gollf courses within a short to medium drive from the house. Waynesville has 3 courses the are somewhat challenging. Whittier has a fun course that takes you up and down the mountain. And Murphy has a couple of good courses that you will enjoy.
