This great family chalet is located on a country lane just off scenic Rte. 100 in the lakes region of Ludlow, 3 miles from Okemo Mountain, 2 miles from Jackson Gore & 15 minutes from Killington. Snowmobiling,snowshoeing from your door.For summer activities the house includes private beach use, swim float and canoe, for fall- magnificent foliage and hiking. This chalet is nicely decorated & comfortably furnished with 4 spacious bedrooms and sleep loft. The master bedroom includes master bath with 2 person jacuzzi and private deck. In addition to the large living area with very well equipped kitchen is a recreation room on a separate level which includes a second wood stove, TV, VCR, bumper pool, Foosball & plenty to make every age happy. There is also a large wrap around deck with grill & furniture as well as a backyard with gardens & an open fire pit with seating in which to enjoy this very tranquil setting. So much to do you may not want to take advantage of the wireless Internet.

Whether you wish to just relax or fill your days with activities this Vermont chalet will work out perfectly in any season. You can swim, canoe, hike & bike in summer & skate, snowmobile, snowshoe or cross-country ski right from the property in winter. The VAST snowmobile trails are accessible from the door step. Skiing at the World Class Okemo Mountain is within 5 minutes and for the summer golfers, Okemo Golf Resort is also within 5 minutes. The town of Ludlow is 4 miles away with its restaurants, stores, supermarkets & spas. Some of the best antiquing, shopping & live theater in Vermont is within a 30 minute ride. With so much to do make sure you take time to enjoy this beautiful location. When you come back from the slopes make a fire and watch the snow fall through the majestic pines, sit by the lake in summer, hike the mountain trails in autumn and pull up a chair to the backyard open fire pit, throw on some logs, enjoy the stars, the quiet and the smores!

Although we do not have a fitness room or pool on premise, for a nominal fee of $12 per day you may use the brand new facility at Jackson Gore located 2 miles away. It houses a pool, great children's pool, fitness gym, & spa. If it is a spa treatment you are looking for, try the Castle Inn Day Spa located in town, for a real treat!
For winter renters, as well as being great ski country - this is also wonderful snowmobile turf. Check either at the mountain or in the activity guide in the house for the number of the in town snowmobile rental info. Most rentals come with guided tours.
Ludlow Chalet Details
Additional information:: For our spring through fall guests canoeing on the lake, we have life jackets in all sizes - infant through Adlult and a second canoe available for your use. Those guests using the wireless internet will find the password for access displayed on the desk in the ground level bedroom.
