Gold Beach sits on the Southern Oregon Coast. It's Oregon's Banana Belt, which has more sun than any other town on the Oregon or Washington Coast. At the beach you will find uncrowded miles on sand, quiet roads, hiking trails, beautiful forests and rugged mountains. You can jet boat up the wild and scenic Rogue River, go crabbing, clamming or fishing. There is world famous golf at Bandon Dunes, rafting, kayaks or canoes. There is also windsurfing, whale watching or simple scenic drives. And don't forget just beach combing or bicycling.
