Homewood Cabin Details
Close to Skiing, Sledding, Cross-Country & Shuttle: Homewood Ski Resort is only 1 mile South on Hwy 89. It's a great place to ski with less hassle for Families. Low price lift tickets! They also have children's ski school. Homewood Mountain Resort was bought by Alpine Meadows and they have great learn to ski/ride program. Only a fraction of the slopes are visible from the road. Although the ski school is at the bottom, most runs are at the top whith Panoramic Lake Views. The lines are also very short. Discounted tickets online. The Tahoe shuttle runs frequently to the ski resorts and Tahoe City for restaurants and shopping. Homewood Ski Resort now has door-to-door shuttles.Call for pick up. It is just one mile from skiing at Homewood, ten miles from Squaw Valley and Alpine Ski Resorts
Restaurants, Shopping and Casinos: The home is conveniently situated close to shopping, restaurants, Sugar Pine Point State Park, Meeks Bay, and not far to the casinos in either North or South Shore. Sunnyside Restaurant has a lake view and is one of our favorites, just down the road. Also Firesign Cafe for breakfast. There is good coffee and sandwiches at Obexter's Market in the center of Homewood.
It's a deal!: This is a great deal! Much less expensive than equal homes through agencies. Family-owned, so we keep it nice... relaxing, spacious, great location, kid-friendly (gate at top of stairs, portable crib available, lots of games, videos etc.). We book up fast... e-mail as soon as you know your dates!
