Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Enforcement of not having a license includes heavy fines and the ability of the government agency to close down an unlicensed rental. Be sure to ask vacation property owners if they are licensed - and by whom - to assure your reservation will be honored and your vacation will not be ruined.
