Fox Island Details: Fox Island is accessible by bridge (NOT ferry) from Gig Harbor and Tacoma, WA.
Gig Harbor Details: Gig Harbor, 'the Maritime City,' is still a commercial fishing village. It has restaurants, shops, galleries, and recreation just 10 miles from the Beach House.
Boating Details: There is a boat ramp on the property where you can launch your boat and tie it up to the buoy out front.
Ski: Skiing at Crystal Mountain, 'Washington's largest Ski Area' near Mt. Ranier, is only 85 miles from the Beach House.
Golf: There are 2 public golf course within 10 miles of the Beach House.
Guest Book: My wife Jacque and I thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The setting is spectacular and the cottage very comfortable. The tennis and day hikes exercised our bodies; the sunsets and campfires invigorated our inner spirits. Thanks to our hosts for a great stay! We'll be back!
